LEGAL AGREEMENT

By submitting your film to Cinematic Luxe Indie Showcase & Weekly Cinematic Spotlight ("The Festivals"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, Submission Requirements, and Legal Provisions. This agreement is binding between the entrant ("Filmmaker") and Cinematic Luxe Media ("The Festival Host").
Failure to comply with any portion of these terms may result in immediate disqualification.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All filmmakers must adhere to the following:

Film Length & Format:

Short/Student/Animated Films/TV/Web series Episodes: under 30 minutes

Features: 40 to 90 minutes

Documentaries: under 40 minutes

File format must be digital (MP4 or MOV) and submitted via Cinematic Luxe Submission Portal or Festhome
Language & Subtitles

Non-English dialogue films must include burned-in English subtitles

Poor or missing subtitles may result in rejection
Ownership

Filmmaker must own or have secured all rights to visuals, music, sound, and story elements

No unlicensed music or copyrighted clips may be used without proper clearance (Director, Producer, Studio will be held accountable in a court of law and/or banned for life from the festival for violations)
Completion Date

** We accept all films no matter the release date**

No "works in progress" or unfinished submissions
Voting Requirement
- All filmmakers must vote on at least 2 other films (1 Feature and 1 Short) during that season's festival cycle to be eligible for awards.
- Failure to vote will result in disqualification from the seasonal event.
Submission Fee & Audience Pass
- The submission fee/audience pass is non-refundable, regardless of acceptance status
- Fee/pass includes one entry, and full festival access (violators will be banned permanently from festival)
Content Standards
- Films promoting hate speech, gratuitous violence, or unlawful content will be rejected
- Nudity and mature themes are accepted only when contextually and artistically justified (Cinematic Luxe panel of judges make the final call)
Multiple Submissions
- Multiple entries are permitted in separate categories; each must be submitted and paid for separately

GLOBAL & ONLINE FORMAT DISCLAIMER

Cinematic Luxe is a fully online, international film festival. By submitting, you acknowledge and agree that:

Your film will be streamed digitally to a global audience on our password protected platform during its scheduled season
Audience members, filmmakers, and critics from around the world will be able to view and vote during this time
Streaming is time-limited (typically 14 days) and does not affect premiere status
You grant Cinematic Luxe non-exclusive, limited-time screening rights for the purposes of the festival and promotion
You retain full rights and ownership of your film at all times

DISQUALIFICATION CLAUSES

Your film may be automatically rejected or disqualified if:

Submission is incomplete or contains broken/unviewable links
Film lacks English subtitles where required
Submission contains unlicensed or pirated materials
Voting requirements are not fulfilled by the deadline
You attempt to vote for your own film or manipulate the voting process
Submission contains hate speech, plagiarized content, or false credits

LEGAL PROTECTIONS & LIABILITY

Rights & Licensing
- By submitting, you affirm you own or control all legal rights to your film
- You indemnify and hold harmless Cinematic Luxe, its staff, affiliates, and partners from any legal claims regarding copyright, trademark, privacy, or distribution violations
Publicity Usage
- You grant Cinematic Luxe the right to use your film’s name, director/producer(s), actors, actresses, synopsis, stills, and trailer (if provided) for marketing and promotional purposes
Streaming and Exposure
- Cinematic Luxe is not liable for any unauthorized copying or piracy that may occur via third-party software or screen recording; we use streaming security, but submission acknowledges this risk inherent to online exhibitions
Changes & Cancellations
- The Festival reserves the right to modify screening dates, categories, awards, or programming as needed
- No refunds will be issued for scheduling changes, non-selection, or disqualification based on these terms

CINEMATIC LUXE MEMBERSHIP & SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

The following terms apply to individuals who register for, purchase, activate, access, or otherwise use a Cinematic Luxe Media membership, subscription, audience pass, guest pass, or other recurring or limited-duration membership service ("Membership").

By enrolling in or using a Membership, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to these Membership & Subscription Terms in addition to any other applicable Cinematic Luxe Media terms, rules, policies, festival requirements, privacy disclosures, contest or raffle rules, and purchase conditions.

Membership benefits are intended for the individual account holder unless Cinematic Luxe Media expressly states otherwise.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS & PRICING

Cinematic Luxe Media may offer the following membership levels:

Audience Viewing Pass — FREE

The Audience Viewing Pass is a limited-duration free access option intended primarily for viewing, discovery, and eligible festival participation.

The Audience Viewing Pass may include:

Limited website and entertainment access
Access to eligible Cinematic Luxe film programming
Access to eligible festival screenings
Festival voting privileges when specifically offered
Selected book and comic previews
Selected Cinematic Luxe Digital Universe content
Festival information
Articles and other selected website content

The Audience Viewing Pass is generally valid for one month (30 days) unless a different access period is disclosed when the pass is activated.

A free Audience Viewing Pass does not guarantee continued access to any particular film, festival, screening, voting event, game, article, feature, or other content.

Guest Pass — FREE

The Guest Pass provides ongoing limited participation within the Cinematic Luxe website and community.

Guest benefits may include:

Limited chat/community groups
General community discussions
Selected festival discussions
Basic games
Basic interactive activities
Selected quizzes, trivia, and other digital experiences
Selected creator/community interactions where offered

Access may be limited by feature, event, availability, capacity, age requirement, geographic availability, or other reasonable operational restrictions.

Standard Pass — $2.00 Per Month

The Standard Pass is a recurring paid membership intended for individuals who want broader participation within the Cinematic Luxe ecosystem.

Standard benefits may include:

Guest Pass benefits
Access to eligible general chat/community groups
Expanded interactive activities
Access to eligible basic games, trivia, quizzes, interactive stories, interactive comics, mysteries, and related digital entertainment
Eligible festival participation and voting privileges
A defined voting allowance where applicable
Selected festival games and activities
Eligible digital badges and collectibles
Selected monthly Cinematic Luxe content
Selected member-exclusive articles or activities
5% eligible Cinematic Luxe merchandise discount

The Standard Pass is currently priced at $2.00 per month, plus any applicable taxes or charges disclosed at checkout.

Premium Pass — $5.99 Per Month

The Premium Pass is a recurring paid membership designed to provide an expanded Cinematic Luxe entertainment experience.

Premium benefits may include:

All eligible Standard Pass benefits
Premium games and interactive experiences
Premium-only community groups
Expanded digital activities
Early access to selected Cinematic Luxe content
Early access to selected festival programming where offered
Exclusive or premium digital collectibles and badges
Premium contests and giveaways
Eligibility for selected monthly raffles or drawings
Occasional eligible physical or digital rewards
10% eligible Cinematic Luxe merchandise discount
Other Premium benefits announced by Cinematic Luxe Media

The Premium Pass is currently priced at $5.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes or charges disclosed at checkout.

VIP Pass — $12.99 Per Month

The VIP Pass is a recurring paid membership intended for individuals seeking the highest level of eligible Cinematic Luxe fan, supporter, entertainment, and festival membership benefits.

VIP benefits may include:

All eligible Premium Pass benefits
VIP membership recognition
VIP digital badges or status
Access to selected Luxe Circle experiences
Priority or earlier access to selected content where offered
Selected VIP festival activities
VIP-only festival events
Special festival digital badges or collectibles
Selected festival giveaways
Eligible discounted or complimentary festival-related offerings
Eligibility for the annual Cinematic Luxe VIP appreciation event
15% eligible Cinematic Luxe merchandise discount
Other VIP benefits announced by Cinematic Luxe Media

The VIP Pass is currently priced at $12.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes or charges disclosed at checkout.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY

Membership descriptions identify the types of benefits Cinematic Luxe Media may provide and do not guarantee that every listed feature, activity, game, film, event, raffle, giveaway, chat group, collectible, discount, screening, or experience will be available continuously.

Content and features may be added, removed, replaced, postponed, modified, temporarily unavailable, or discontinued due to programming decisions, licensing restrictions, technical limitations, creator availability, festival scheduling, maintenance, security concerns, legal requirements, or other operational circumstances.

Where required by applicable law, Cinematic Luxe Media will provide notice of material changes to paid recurring subscriptions.

AUTOMATIC RENEWAL & RECURRING BILLING

Where a paid Membership is presented and purchased as an automatically renewing subscription, the recurring nature of the subscription, price, billing frequency, and applicable cancellation terms will be disclosed during enrollment or checkout.

By affirmatively purchasing an automatically renewing Membership, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method associated with your account at the disclosed recurring rate, plus applicable taxes, at each billing interval until you cancel the subscription.

Unless otherwise disclosed at purchase, Standard, Premium, and VIP monthly Memberships renew monthly until canceled.

Cinematic Luxe Media may change subscription prices prospectively. Where required by applicable law, notice will be provided before a new recurring price takes effect, and any additional consent required by applicable law will be obtained.

CANCELLATION

Members may cancel an automatically renewing paid Membership through the cancellation method made available through the website, account system, payment provider, or other method disclosed at purchase.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation stops future renewal charges and takes effect at the end of the member's current paid billing period. The member may ordinarily continue using eligible paid Membership benefits until the end of that period.

Cancellation does not ordinarily provide a prorated refund for a partially used billing period unless required by applicable law or expressly authorized by Cinematic Luxe Media.

Deleting an account, leaving a chat group, ceasing to use the website, or failing to participate in the festival does not necessarily constitute cancellation of a paid recurring subscription. Members should use the designated cancellation process.

REFUNDS

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise at purchase, paid Membership charges are non-refundable after the applicable membership period has begun.

Cinematic Luxe Media may, at its discretion, provide refunds, credits, extensions, replacement benefits, or other accommodations in exceptional circumstances. Providing such an accommodation on one occasion does not create an obligation to provide the same accommodation in the future.

Nothing in these terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS

Merchandise and other discounts apply only to eligible purchases and may exclude:

Sale or clearance merchandise
Limited-edition merchandise
Certain collaborations
Third-party products
Gift cards
Shipping
Taxes
Certain festival products or services
Other excluded products identified before purchase

Membership discounts generally cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless expressly permitted.

Cinematic Luxe Media may establish reasonable purchase limits or discount restrictions designed to prevent resale, fraud, abuse, or exploitation of membership benefits.

FESTIVAL VOTING & MEMBERSHIP

Possession of a Cinematic Luxe Membership does not permit manipulation of festival voting.

All applicable festival voting requirements continue to apply.

Cinematic Luxe Media may invalidate votes, restrict voting privileges, suspend accounts, disqualify participating films where applicable under festival rules, or take other appropriate action where it reasonably determines that voting manipulation, fraudulent accounts, automated voting, coordinated abuse, self-voting, or other prohibited conduct has occurred.

Membership fees do not purchase an award, nomination, finalist placement, favorable review, judging preference, or guaranteed festival outcome.

Paid members receive only the membership benefits described for their applicable membership level.

GAMES, POINTS, DIGITAL BADGES & COLLECTIBLES

Cinematic Luxe Media may offer games, points, achievements, leaderboards, digital badges, collectibles, rewards, and other interactive features.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, points, badges, achievements, and digital collectibles:

Are intended primarily for entertainment, participation, loyalty, or promotional purposes
Have no cash value
Are not legal tender
Are not cryptocurrency or investment products
May not be sold, transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash
Do not represent ownership, equity, securities, intellectual property rights, or financial interests in Cinematic Luxe Media
May be modified, retired, replaced, reset, or discontinued where reasonably necessary

Where Cinematic Luxe Media expressly allows points to be redeemed for merchandise discounts, content, raffle entries, digital items, or other rewards, the applicable redemption requirements will be disclosed.

RAFFLES, GIVEAWAYS, SWEEPSTAKES & CONTESTS

Certain Membership levels may include eligibility for raffles, giveaways, sweepstakes, contests, or promotional drawings.

Each promotion may be governed by separate Official Rules, including eligibility requirements, geographic restrictions, entry periods, prize descriptions, winner-selection procedures, and any legally required free alternative method of entry.

A paid subscription will not constitute consideration for entry where doing so would violate applicable law.

Membership does not guarantee that a member will win a prize.

Cinematic Luxe Media reserves the right to investigate suspected fraudulent entries, automated participation, duplicate accounts, manipulation, or other abuse and may disqualify entries where permitted by the applicable Official Rules and law.

MEMBER CONDUCT & COMMUNITY FEATURES

Members using chat groups, community features, comments, interactive activities, or other social functionality must behave lawfully and comply with applicable community standards.

Cinematic Luxe Media may moderate, restrict, suspend, or terminate access for conduct including:

Harassment
Threats
Hate speech
Spam
Fraud
Impersonation
Illegal activity
Unauthorized commercial solicitation
Attempts to manipulate festival voting
Attempts to circumvent membership restrictions
Sharing protected membership credentials
Abuse of discounts, points, raffles, giveaways, or rewards
Unauthorized distribution of protected Cinematic Luxe or filmmaker content

Membership does not create an unrestricted right to participate in any particular chat group or community feature.

ACCOUNT SECURITY

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activity conducted through their accounts to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Members should promptly notify Cinematic Luxe Media of suspected unauthorized access.

Membership accounts and benefits may not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared for the purpose of circumventing access restrictions unless Cinematic Luxe Media expressly authorizes such sharing.

TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION

Cinematic Luxe Media may suspend or terminate Membership access for material violations of these terms, fraud, unlawful activity, threats to platform security, abuse of other users, voting manipulation, unauthorized redistribution of protected content, payment fraud, or repeated misuse of Membership benefits.

Any termination, refund, or continued-access rights will remain subject to applicable law.

LUXE DISPATCH SUBSCRIPTION & NEWSLETTER TERMS

LUXE DISPATCH

Luxe Dispatch is a Cinematic Luxe Media newsletter and communications service that may provide subscribers with information concerning Cinematic Luxe Media, the Cinematic Luxe Indie Showcase, Weekly Cinematic Spotlight, independent filmmakers and creators, original Cinematic Luxe entertainment, books, comics, games, merchandise, festivals, upcoming releases, membership benefits, promotions, interviews, announcements, and related content.

By voluntarily subscribing to Luxe Dispatch, you consent to receive the categories of email communications disclosed when you subscribe.

EMAIL CONSENT

Subscription to Luxe Dispatch is voluntary.

By providing an email address and affirmatively subscribing, you represent that you are authorized to use the email address provided and consent to receive Luxe Dispatch communications.

Where legally required, Cinematic Luxe Media may request additional confirmation or consent before sending certain communications.

Subscribing to Luxe Dispatch does not require purchasing a paid Cinematic Luxe Membership unless expressly stated otherwise.

MARKETING & PROMOTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS

Luxe Dispatch may include:

Festival announcements
Film recommendations or spotlights
Creator features
Books and comics
Game announcements
Membership information
Merchandise announcements
Special offers
Giveaways
Contests
Surveys
Upcoming events
Promotional communications
Other Cinematic Luxe Media updates

Receiving Luxe Dispatch does not guarantee access to a particular promotion, discount, festival, product, prize, screening, event, or Membership benefit.

UNSUBSCRIBING

Subscribers may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism contained within eligible Luxe Dispatch emails or another unsubscribe method made available by Cinematic Luxe Media.

Cinematic Luxe Media will process valid unsubscribe requests in accordance with applicable law.

Unsubscribing from Luxe Dispatch marketing communications does not necessarily prevent Cinematic Luxe Media from sending non-promotional transactional or service communications that are reasonably necessary concerning an active Membership, purchase, account, festival submission, security matter, legal notice, or requested service.

EMAIL DELIVERY

Cinematic Luxe Media does not guarantee that every Luxe Dispatch communication will reach every subscriber.

Email delivery may be affected by:

Spam filters
Email provider policies
Incorrect email addresses
Full inboxes
Technical interruptions
Subscriber settings
Internet service disruptions
Other circumstances outside Cinematic Luxe Media's reasonable control

Cinematic Luxe Media is not responsible for opportunities, promotions, announcements, or deadlines missed because a subscriber did not receive or review an email, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

SUBSCRIBER INFORMATION & PRIVACY

Information collected in connection with Luxe Dispatch and Cinematic Luxe Memberships will be handled in accordance with Cinematic Luxe Media's applicable privacy disclosures and applicable law.

Cinematic Luxe Media may use subscriber information to administer subscriptions, deliver requested communications, operate Memberships, prevent fraud, provide customer support, analyze engagement, improve services, and send communications for which the subscriber has provided any consent required by law.

Cinematic Luxe Media will not claim rights to a subscriber's independent creative work merely because the subscriber joins Luxe Dispatch or purchases a Membership.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Cinematic Luxe Media may use third-party providers to process payments, host content, deliver emails, operate website features, administer forms, analyze service performance, or provide other infrastructure.

Those third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Cinematic Luxe Media is not responsible for independent acts or omissions of third-party providers except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, Cinematic Luxe Media's website design, branding, logos, original written material, graphics, digital collectibles, games, interactive experiences, original entertainment properties, promotional materials, and other proprietary content are owned by or licensed to Cinematic Luxe Media and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Membership, festival participation, or Luxe Dispatch subscription does not transfer ownership of Cinematic Luxe Media intellectual property to the subscriber.

Nothing in these Membership or Luxe Dispatch terms transfers ownership of an independent filmmaker's submitted film to Cinematic Luxe Media.

NO GUARANTEE OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE

Cinematic Luxe Media does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of its website, Membership features, Luxe Dispatch, interactive experiences, games, streaming services, community areas, or other digital services.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, cybersecurity incidents, third-party service interruptions, force majeure events, or circumstances outside Cinematic Luxe Media's reasonable control.

CHANGES TO MEMBERSHIP AND LUXE DISPATCH TERMS

Cinematic Luxe Media may update these Membership and Luxe Dispatch terms from time to time to reflect changes in services, pricing, features, business practices, legal requirements, or operational needs.

The updated version will display a revised "Last Updated" date.

For material changes affecting paid recurring Memberships, Cinematic Luxe Media will provide any notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Membership or Luxe Dispatch terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

NO WAIVER

Failure by Cinematic Luxe Media to enforce a provision of these terms on one occasion does not waive its right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

These Membership and Luxe Dispatch provisions, together with any applicable checkout disclosures, privacy disclosures, festival rules, promotion Official Rules, community standards, and other terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the applicable agreement governing the relevant Cinematic Luxe service.

Where separate terms apply to a specific festival, promotion, purchase, contest, raffle, or third-party platform, those specific terms may supplement these general terms.
